You may be wondering why we have a photo of our Chief Operating Officer, Andy Gomes, hula hooping. Is it Dance Fever Month at Leisure Care? Or maybe Bring Your Funky Chicken to Work Day? While those would be good guesses, they are incorrect. Andy is hula hooping because he's excited. He's excited for all the fun things we're doing for our residents. Indeed, when they have fun, we have fun. And, come to think of it, vice versa.

Our experienced management team has consistently been recognized as the "best in the business" by peers, press, and business partners. And we are awfully flattered. I mean, we're blushing just thinking about it. But what's most important is the trust we have earned from thousands of seniors and their families. That's what drives us. That's why we innovate. That's why we build. And that's why we, you guessed it, dance.

At Leisure Care, we also place a high value on community and industry involvement. General managers in every community actively assist local philanthropies. Our management team members volunteer with industry organizations and serve on the boards of industry associations. In addition, we work closely with state regulators—educating them on the industry and partnering with them to anticipate regulatory changes.
