Friendship Lunch at Fairwinds – Ivey Ranch

The past few years have shown us the importance of community. At Fairwinds – Ivey Ranch, we know that friendships and relationships are the glue that holds our community together. To honor the special friendships that our residents share, we hosted a Friendship Lunch where residents invited a non-resident friend to come and have lunch with them in our onsite restaurant.

Fairwinds – Ivey Ranch offers high-quality senior living in Oceanside, California. Our independent living and assisted living community goes above and beyond basic care to create an environment where residents thrive. Every day we promised to deliver Five-Star Fun. It’s a commitment to finding the fun in the ordinary and making each day special. One way that residents can experience Five-Star Fun is by being surrounded by good friends and a community that genuinely cares for them.

We recently sponsored a Friendship Lunch to encourage precious relationships our residents have with those who do not live at Fairwinds – Ivey Ranch. The resident chooses the day and time for the lunch, and the two can choose a meal from our menu. The meals are then delivered to the resident’s apartment while the two friends enjoy quality time together. Residents have enjoyed reconnecting with friends, delving deeper into new friendships, and strengthening the bond between lifelong friends.

Fairwinds – Ivey Ranch resident Joyce took her friend Linda to lunch. It was something they had not been able to do for quite a while, and both were thrilled to spend time together. Linda enjoyed the food, and Joyce enjoyed showing her friend around her home and even asked for more Friendship Lunches as she has other friends she would like to invite!

Our Oceanside assisted living and independent living community is about so much more than care.
