Soaring High: Russellville Park Residents Take the Leap!

On July 28, a sunny Friday morning, Russellville Park residents Gene McKinney and MJ Wallace, both aged 85 and 84, respectively, along with Samantha Gast, our Guest Services Manager, embarked on an unforgettable adventure. They took to the skies to experience the exhilaration of skydiving from an astonishing 14,500 feet! The idea originated from Gene and MJ, who already had one jump on their belts back when they were in their 70s.

Accompanied by 25 fellow residents, who came along to show their support, the group headed to Skydive Oregon in Molalla, Oregon. Two buses filled with excited residents, box lunches, and an overwhelming sense of camaraderie set the stage for an unforgettable day. Cheers, smiles, and thumbs up filled the air as Gene, MJ, and Samantha prepared for the breathtaking leap.
