The Ackerly at Sherwood is set to open July 2019 and is now taking reservations! Offering a range of senior care options, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, the new community will deliver a five-star senior living experience. The range of senior care options and continuum of care allows residents to age in place, staying at The Ackerly even if needs change over time.

Located near Providence Medical Center, the YMCA, and near downtown historic Sherwood, the Ackerly at Sherwood has all the benefits of being in the heart of the city. Planning to be an integral and involved partner in Sherwood community events, the Ackerly is looking forward to giving back to the local community. 

We are so excited to add another Leisure Care, Ackerly brand community to the Portland Market and Ackerly at Sherwood team is looking forward to making a positive impact in the greater community of Sherwood. We have already began and efforts to become part of the Sherwood community by giving back and supporting local youth sports teams, parks and recreation programs, art and theatre community and more. The community features 137 spacious apartment homes, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens, washers and dryers, balconies, walk-in closets and emergency communication systems. The community itself feature a health and wellness center, a gardening center, a courtyard with an outdoor fireplace, library, and activities room. 

The Ackerly is now seeking new residents and employees to join our Trailblazer Club and take advantage of the amazing offers that come with being a founding resident of our community.
