- Azalea at Cinnaminson
At Azalea at Cinnaminson, we believe that providing older adults with the most fulfilling, rewarding, and productive opportunities possible starts with inspired leadership. That’s why we are so proud to celebrate the promotion of our General Manager, Ed, who brings a wealth of experience, passion, and heart to everything he does.
Ed began his journey with Leisure Care more than five years ago as a Sales Manager. A natural leader and relationship-builder, he quickly rose through the ranks. After completing Leisure Care’s Management Associate Program, Ed was promoted to General Manager at his former community—and earned the prestigious title of 2022 Rookie of the Year! When the opportunity came to open a brand-new community in Cinnaminson, Ed jumped at the chance and helped launch Azalea in August 2023.
His dedication and leadership didn’t go unnoticed. In early 2024, Ed was promoted to Senior General Manager, and now we’re thrilled to announce his newest milestone: Leisure Care’s next CEO General Manager!
Before joining the senior living world, Ed’s background was rooted in the entertainment industry. He worked professionally as an actor and singer, performing on national tours, on television, and in film. He’s been a Director and Producer, a proud Casting Society of America member, and cast over 75 stage productions, multiple independent films, and two feature films. For 11 years, he also served as the Executive Director of a professional theatre.
Ed’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch his own production company and consult on a tech startup, where he served as Marketing Director and Content Manager. From 2017 to 2019, he served on Facebook’s inaugural Small & Medium Business Council.
Thankfully for us, Ed doesn’t leave his creative spark at the door. Around Azalea, you’ll often catch him singing at happy hours, playing music at community events, and even running karaoke nights for residents and families. His ability to connect through music and joy is just one of the many ways he makes Azalea feel like home.
Outside of work, Ed is all about family. He and his wife of 20 years, Jeannine, have three amazing sons—Jake, Caden, and Nate—and a beloved Cavapoo named Francesca. He’s also deeply involved in his community, coaching multiple flag football and baseball teams and serving as the league’s vice president since 2013.
We’re beyond proud of all that Ed has accomplished and grateful for the energy, creativity, and heart he brings to Azalea at Cinnaminson every single day. His commitment to excellence is felt by our team and every resident and visitor who walks through our doors.
Please join us in congratulating Ed on his well-deserved promotion! We can’t wait to see what’s next under his exceptional leadership.
