Celebrating Michelle DeLeon Ferreira: Our Newest Graduate of the Leisure Care Management Associate Program

We are thrilled to announce that Michelle DeLeon Ferreira, from Fairwinds – Spokane, has successfully completed the Leisure Care Management Associate Program! Michelle’s journey with Leisure Care began at another Leisure Care community, where she excelled in her role as Health and Wellness Manager. Over a year ago, she transferred to Fairwinds – Spokane to continue her career development, and she has been a remarkable part of our team ever since.

In her time with us, Michelle has taken on new challenges, including her recent promotion to Guest Services Manager at Fairwinds – Spokane. While working in these vital roles, she also dedicated herself to the Management Associate (MA) Program, balancing her daily responsibilities while learning the intricacies of community operations. For the past year and a half, Michelle has trained at other Leisure Care communities and assisted teams across the country, showcasing her commitment to both personal growth and the success of the entire company.

Michelle shares, “I enjoyed the program and the opportunities I have had because of the MA program. I have learned so much and I am very excited to continue this journey. I am grateful for you and Jamie and the guidance and support that you have both given me. Leisure Care is a GREAT place to work 😊.”

The Management Associate Program at Leisure Care is designed to develop the next generation of leaders in senior living. Over 18 months, participants gain hands-on experience in operations, sales, and hospitality, preparing them to take on leadership roles within the company. Michelle’s success is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and the strong support system at Leisure Care that fosters professional growth.
