“I just wanted to thank you all so much for making my mom’s transition into memory care go as best it could be. The lovely flowers were also much appreciated! Your love for people, while doing a difficult job, is so evident and we can’t thank you enough!”-the children of a resident

“I want to thank the wonderful staff at The Landing for so many things. You were very patient with us as we went through the decision-making process with Mom. The actual move-in was organized and everyone was so helpful. We felt supported, and once again, grateful for the kindness and patience shown to Mom and our family during her first few days. She is doing so much better physically, socially, and emotionally. At a recent doctor visit, my mom sang the praises of her new home. She is very happy and content now as part of The Landing community. Our family feels secure in the knowledge that our mom is safe, happy, and not alone. Thank you all for what you do each day – it is very much appreciated.”-Ellen P., a family member of a resident
“The wonderful staff at the Landing are champions at making every day a celebration of life. My father moved in 9 months ago and he reminds me weekly how happy he is that we chose the Landing. He loves being part of a social, respectful, and caring environment and I love that he is so happy!” -Kathy H., a family member of a resident
“I am so grateful to the staff who assisted and supported my dad’s move from Florida to Connecticut while adhering to the safety measures that were in place. Living outside of the U.S., the tremendous willingness of the staff to step in and help organize the move was, for me, just what was needed to get this done. Once we arrived at the Landing of North Haven, it felt like coming home, meeting everyone who had been so kind and helpful to us. After his first night at The Landing, my father said to me that when he woke up he was happy and that he felt safe.” -Kathy H., a family member of a resident
“It’s evident that this is a caring place and we have made the right decision for dad to live here. Thank you to the wonderful staff.” -Shaun G., a family member of a resident

“The Landing at North Haven has made this transition easy, enjoyable, and professional. Not only have they kept everyone safe and healthy, but they have also kept them smiling, laughing, and entertained. They are well-fed and enjoy special meals on holidays and birthdays. The aides and dining staff are friendly, creative, and supportive of the residents. The entire staff is extremely down-to-earth and understands the trials and tribulations that these older adults are experiencing. They are open and welcoming to requests, comments, and concerns of the residents and their families. I can not recommend The Landing more to anyone seeking a beautiful, comfortable, and progressive community for themselves or their loved ones. “A shout out of appreciation to the care providers at the Landing North Haven, CT for your compassionate care every day and especially during these unprecedented times.” – Stanley Z., a family member of resident
“I want to express my gratitude to all of the aides, nurses, administrative personnel, and maintenance employees at The Landing. We have visited my mom and everyone has been very helpful in handling these visits while we are outdoors using phones or walkie talkies during our visits. I know everyone is even more occupied at this time with all of the necessary precautions that need to be taken at this time and everyone we have encountered has always had a smile and understanding look on their face. Prior to this situation, I knew we had picked the best place for our Mom but never knew how important this was going to be because we never expected this situation and I now realize this was absolutely the best decision we could have made.” – Family of resident Gina B.
“The Landing has much to offer their residents, three meals per day of your choice, cooked by chefs and served to you by well-trained friendly waitresses in the spacious dining room. There are many rooms of different sizes to suit all needs including a ‘respite room’ available to give the potential resident the experience of living at the Landing. There are many interesting activities to choose from including artwork, ceramics, card games, Bingo, just to name a few. There is also entertainment in many forms including cooking demos, singers, guitarists, pianists, and more. There are many well-trained nurses and other staff members always available to meet your needs. The maintenance staff is ready to fill any requests you might have, all done with expertise plus more than a friendly attitude. Whatever the residents’ request might be, such as hanging photos, moving furniture, and too many more to mention. And most importantly, the friendliest of all the residents. A wonderful place to meet and get to know each other. A little poem I remember from years gone by went like this, “Make new friends, But keep the old, One is silver, And the other is gold.” You will find both at The Landing!” – Peg A., resident
“I just want to say thank you. I knew we liked The Landing when we decided to have our Mom move to The Landing last month but we never knew what was coming our way with all the changes in our lives. Words can’t express our gratitude and love to all of you on how you are handling this situation. This goes out to your staff also. You are the real heroes in helping us get past this difficult time. This has been difficult for all of us and all of you but what you have done is so appreciative. Thank you again and stay well.”– Pat and Ed B., residents
