- The Village at Mill Landing
The Village at Mill Landing is proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to offer three unique workshops for dementia caregivers. The free workshops will be held on Wednesday evenings through the spring and will explore what we know about dementia, how to cope with difficult dementia behaviors and communication strategies as dementia progresses.
We know that a dementia diagnosis is life changing for your entire family. The changes that come with Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia are often unpredictable and can leave people with the illness and their loved ones feeling confused and anxious. That’s where we come in.
At The Village at Mill Landing, we are your partners in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. With all the comforts of home and the luxuries of a resort-lifestyle, we are experts in providing high quality, person-centered memory care that values the individual and promotes a purpose and meaningful lifestyle.
To help people diagnosed with dementia and their caregivers, we are partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to offer three unique workshops for anyone who loves and/or cares for someone with dementia. The workshops will be informative and also a safe place for caregivers to ask questions and share experiences with others on a similar journey.
