The Village at Mill Landing Hosts Senior Summer Picnic

The Village at Mill Landing assisted living and memory care has a strong sense of community that can not help but overflow into the larger town of Greece, New York. We are proud of our partnership with the local town and sponsor multiple events for seniors at the community center throughout the year. Learn more about the strong relationship between The Village at Mill Landing and Greece and how we are striving to build meaningful relationships in and outside of our community.

The Village at Mill Landing was recently given the opportunity to sponsor Greece’s Senior Summer Picnic. Held annually each summer, this was the first year The Village at Mill Landing has sponsored the picnic. Over 240 seniors came out to enjoy the delicious barbecue spread, make new friends, spend time with each other, and even dance!

We were also given the opportunity to speak at the event and introduce our community as well as share a quick guide to the assisted living and memory care services that we offer. Our staff handed out ‘summer kits’ complete with sunscreen and drink packets to promote senior summer safety.
