Monroe County has seen a drop in COVID rates in the last few weeks, bringing about changing guidelines and regulations. Learn more about the changing regulations at The Village at Mill Landing and how we are celebrating a return to normalcy.
The Village at Mill Landing senior living community has closely followed state, county, and CDC guidelines throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Two years ago, we quickly adapted, changing protocols designed to keep our residents healthy. Through it all, our residents could stay active and engaged in community life while we exceeded recommended guidelines to reduce the risk of infection. We offered creative solutions to keep residents socially engaged but physically separated. Now, as COVID numbers continue to decline throughout the region, we are celebrating relaxed restrictions and a return to normalcy.
“Life is happening here. This is our residents’ home and it’s all about the quality of life. Our activities are in full swing and our community, for the most part, looks like it did before the pandemic.” – Christie Hill, General Manager
Activities and dining for our assisted living and memory care residents are back in full swing. We are happy to announce that friends and family may join loved ones for a meal at The Village at Mill Landing’s onsite restaurant. Masks are required, and appropriate screenings will be conducted for visitors. Additionally, our regular outings have resumed. Residents are thrilled to resume outings to nearby Geva Theater, Wegmans, local restaurants, including The Brookhouse and Papa Joe’s, and trips to Finger Lakes Casino and Gaming.
We would love for you to join us for a private tour, a meal, or our next outing! Contact us today and see how you can live with a whole lotta heart!
