Washington Oakes senior living in Everett, WA, is always looking for ways to provide life-enhancing services to residents. We are proud to announce our new partnership with Select Rehab for occupational, physical, and pathology services.

On-Site Therapy Services at Washington Oakes Senior Living

Washington Oakes independent living and assisted living is launching a partnership with Select Rehab to provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to our residents. Residents will meet with therapists in our on-site therapy room, making it more convenient than ever to receive the services they need.

Combining services with our in-house physical therapist and PrimeFit instructor, Select Rehab will offer residents the following services:

Physical Therapy

To help residents improve muscle strength and coordination, physical therapy is a key component to recovery from an injury or illness. It can help alleviate pain and increase mobility. The therapists will develop a fitness and wellness program that restores function and decreases pain while providing residents with educational resources.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps residents regain and redevelop daily living skills such as bathing, dressing, dining, etc. Our occupational therapy program specializes in pain management, neurological deficits, strokes, and hand, and upper extremity injuries.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy helps participants learn or relearn how to communicate through writing, reading, or spoken words and includes help with difficulty chewing or swallowing. Speech therapy helps residents recover from strokes, head injuries, and neurological diseases while improving speech, language, cognitive wellness, communication, and swallowing functions.
