    Reflections from Our Residents

Women’s History Month is not just about looking back—it’s also about recognizing the progress made and work still to be done. Our residents shared their thoughts on what this month means to them:

“I believe women are more able to do things these days than we did in the past. Especially in the working world. I am so proud of my daughter—she is a CEO of a large company.” – Bettie B.

“When I was working, the obligations were much tougher for sick, vacation, and family time. If you were a working woman, they didn’t really want you to have a family. I’m so glad that has improved today.” – Barbara H.

“Looking back at history, I can see all the great women we admire for the impacts they made, from Amelia Earhart to Ruth Bader Ginsburg.” – Carol X.
